Instant Translation Capability for Microsoft Longhorn.

Will Microsoft Longhorn have Instant Translation
capability. For example, if I have a Japanese program on
an English version of Microsoft Longhorn, I want
everything translated to English by the OS. When I mean
everything, I mean the GUI, UI, the program code, etc.

It seems that Microsoft not only does not need the classic Visual Basic developer army (the largest army of developers the world has ever seen), but now they don't need ANY Windows developer at a small or mid-sized business. http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.msdn.general/browse_thread/thread/9d7e8f9a00c1c7da/459ca99eb0e7c328?q=%22Proposed+MSDN+subscription+changes%22&rnum=1#459ca99eb0e7c328 Damn! Hi First of all sorry for large post. I know its big, probably most won't get to the end, but I'm running out of options. I've searched web, I've found some demo project on www.codeproject.com but there is only basic info about it. :-( Could someone please translated it for me? I'm sitting on it for a few days now and I can't get through :-(

Hi folks, Forgive me if this has been asked a million times before. I need to read a word document out of a varbinary field and display it on a web page. I do not want to use a browser plugin as I want the document displayed seemlessly. Does anyone know how one goes about reading word docs and turning them into html for display ?

I keep hearing persistant rumors (along with my own experience) that .NET is going to be abandon by Microsoft due to performance & security issues? I realize no one from Microsoft is likely to confirm this publically, but if anyone that does have insider knowledge, could you provide some feedback (private or public). My company is on the verge of migrating to .NET, but we've ran into several performance issues (mostly on the GUI side) and...

Can you explain what they mean by "instant member" for instance, in the article about arraylists, it says it's thread safe but it's instant members are not. What does that mean? http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.collections.arraylist.aspx

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
