Hi,
Threads in the .NET Framework 1.1 (and possibly in 1.0 also) leak "Event"
handles, by Event handles I mean Win32 Event handles which can be monitored
using the ProcessExplorer from www.sysinternals.com, or even simply look at

I have a form with a number of text boxes, comboboxes etc. What I would
like to do is create an event handler for the "mouseenter" event for each of
the controls whereby I display information about the control they just
entered (sort of like an extended tooltip). Now, I can certainly create a

I've got an input box with popup calendar (date picker) all generated
using javascipt.
Once a date is selected from the datepicker window, the date value is
populated back to the input box.
The problem is that the input box onchange event does not kick off. The

I am making a web page and have included a JavaScript named crazy clock. The
page displays fine in IE but not in Firefox. The event console says: "event
is not defined" at line 143. According to notepad plus, line 143 is:
ymouse =
(ns)?evnt.pageY+ClockFromMouseY-(window.pageYOffset):event.y+ClockFromMouseY;
And the whole...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
