An urgent question about how an ActiveX control used in a web page is registered in user's machine automatically

I've made a ActiveX control, and I put it in a web page.
When users browser the page , the ActiveX control is downloaded,but not

registered in the computer automatically!! When you refresh the page,
the browser has to download it again!!
How can I solve this problem?
Should I solve this prolbem in the ActiveX control,or in the web page,
or in the inf file?
I've made a cab file including the .ocx,.dll, and .inf.
The .inf is like this:
[version]
; version signature (same for both NT and Win95) do not remove
signature="$CHI CAGO$"
AdvancedINF=2.0

[Add.Code]
RTCDLL.dll=RTCD LL.dll £»RTCDLL.dll is a necessity in my .ocx
RTCActiceX.ocx= RTCActiceX.ocx £»My ActiveX control

; needed DLL
[RTCDLL.dll]
file-win32-x86=thiscab
FileVersion=4,2 ,4949,1001
DestDir=11
RegisterServer= yes

[RTCActiceX1.ocx]
file-win32-x86=thiscab
clsid={6F44DC44-CA89-4609-8368-67840CB76794}
FileVersion=1,0 ,0,1
RegisterServer= yes
; end of INF file

I need detailed instructions!!
Great thanks!!

I created a .cab file and placed this file on the web server and updated the web page with the <OBJECT> tag with the correct guid, etc. When I hit the web page, it prompts me and asks if I want to download and install the component. I click yes and it appears to go through the motions of downloading the .cab, etc. But the control never appears on the web page. When I check the...

Hi, I am trying to build an activeX that, if missing, will be downloaded and setup automatically on the client's browser (internet explorer). Using VB6, it was easy, using the <Object> tag, the classid attribute for its reference, and the codebase attribute for its .cab file. Now, I am using vb.net. I managed to create the object (using ComClass<...> and ClassId, InterfaceId and EventsId.

Hi All, I'm trying to display .NET Custom Control (created using Inherited Control) on an ASPX page, but no luck. I already registered the Control to Global Assembly Cache through .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration. I have also put a reference to the control on my ASP .NET project. The view that I get is only a disabled text area. Below is the code that I'm using:

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
