Hi,
I've run into a rather odd problem. get Methods seem to return values
from the wrong methods! For example, let's pretend my activex control
stores values about a person. getName would return their age, while
getAge might return null! Something is also going wrong with my method
that accepts input and returns a value (okay, it is a money conversion
program!)... it is returning null!
They are consistently returning the same, wrong...

Hi All,
The company I work for has traditionally used COM/ActiveX for the
solutions that it provides. We are in the process of moving to .NET and
a few applications have been written in VB.NET up to this point.
Some of the applications are class libraries which need to be callable
via the COM interface from some of the older applications. Could

I'm using a 3rd party ActiveX control which has it's own constructor and two
very methods (which ultimately sends out messages on the server's USB or
serial port). I am trying to run this ActiveX component in my ASP.NET
applicaiton. For now, I'm testing this application via localhost connection.

I have created an .OCX in VB6 for use on a web page. I created a .cab file
and placed this file on the web server and updated the web page with the
<OBJECT> tag with the correct id, etc.
When I hit the web page, it prompts me and asks if I want to download and
