I have looked at some mouseover/ sound object scripts and can't get
them to work. Most were more complex than needed and introduced several
new parameters for me.
I found a simple pair of html code segments that accomplish display of
an image and automatic 'display' (playback) of a .wav file, and
apparently are usable for both IE and NS,

I just made an installer package for an application in .NET which also uses
COM dlls. It seems to work fine on my machine but when tried it on a
co-worker's machine, the application installs, but while running, gives the
following error in the part that must use a certain COM dll:
COM object with CLSID {some hex code} is either not valid or not registered
I know which application is using this dll while the error is generated and

I have a form with the mediaplayer referenced to play mp3's and avi's
and I believe that is what is causing the problem. I am not sure, but
I am hoping. Anyway, I "published" the vb.net app and moved it to
another computer and I get the following error msg when I load the
form with the mediaplayer on it. I upgraded this project from a
standard vb app to the .net version (vb express anyway) and that is
when the problem arose. ...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
