I am trying to use asynchronous logging using MSMQ and I have configured the
properties as defined in the help (see below) I don't understand where the
property 'MsmqPath' is in the app.config for MSMQDistrbutor.exe is it meant
to be an aplication settings or an enterprise library setting in the
app.config?
I have tried creating an application setting value for it but it still fails
to write to the logging destination?

I have managed to get asycnhronous logging work for an asp.net application
and I wanted some clarification on the method.
Normally if the application is logging synchronously it has all the settings
for the logging application block in the app.config for the application. But
if you want to use asynchronous logging you have to specify asynchronous
logging for all logging types in the app.config of the application and then

Hi,All,
When i deploy Enterprise library with my application ,i used XCOPY to
deploy it into my test server. But when application runs, shown some error
related registry. (But actually I haven't any method or component to wrote
registry)
After I used "InstallUtil" to registry Enterprise Library (those DLLs)
to the deployment server, the application runs smoothly.

I've started using Enterprise Library 2.0 recently and I've encountered

Basically, when I set a Trace Listener (formatted event log to be

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
