I need to make a registration page for a community service volleyball tournament our organization is doing. I am VERY NEW to ASP. Would the easiest way to make it be just doing it on frontpage (where i just lay out the form and save it as an .ASP file) and then changing the form properties so that the results are sent to the access file? I read that you could make aso forms on frontpage and it just seemed too easy. Do these really work...

All! Does anybody know how to fix the issue? Machine was working perfectly with WinXPPro and IE6 and all latest service packs, maybe just excluding WinWord from the Enterprise Office 2003, the service pack that I installed added a Shift-Arrow annoying selection bug, but it's fixable if I delete this SP from the machine and stop downloading it. There is another one more serious problem - when I installed IE7 and all required SPs from MS I...

Hi everyone I'm learning asp, and i downloaded this script to teach me how to post form data from a webpage to an access database. I put it on the server so i could make sure that it worked, and everything was fine, so i changed the variable names (the names of the form elements, and the names of the rows in access) so that it would be more correct to what i am using it for. Now once I did that, it gave me an error on line 24 which was the...

I want to use CSS to get an ordered list to start with something other than a 1 or equivalent. I have a list of things that happen during the course of a year. Too long a list is not helpful, so I only show maybe 3 months of items at a time. The items have to be ordered according to the year, IOW I can't list something in April as being #1. In HTML after the first couple of months I just use this sort of code: <ol start="14"...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
