You'll have to talk with the one who provide this service. This is generally
provided either as web service (referencing the web service will create a
proxy class) or by posting form fields to this page (System.Net.Web Client
allows to issue an HTTP request to an external page).

I am trying to use webpage with javascript to check if a web server is responding. I was thinking of using 2 frames. Frame1 will have the site, and the Frame2 will be a status bar (not really needed). This webpage will call the site's homepage and refresh in 10 seconds. If I can see the homepage then, the site is up, else site is down. I have an example of my code below. My question, is it possible to check the homepage in frame1 (after...

I am developing an HTML javascript application and I want to preserve state in a way that can be book-marked. I chose HTML anchors as a means of preserving state. When the application changes state, the HTML page URL would change from default.html to default.html#stateA. example: http://pearstudios.com/javascript/locationHashAndFlash.html This has worked perfectly within HTML and javascript alone, however, when connecting Flash and...

I want to know if it's possible to call, within my cgi page, using javascript, a remote url and get the result without changing my actual page. To say more, I have a page result appaired to the customer. And I want to call, during this, a remote server to send the result of the operation (ok/nok). I don't want to use 'window.open' because it can be blocked by the browser (pop-up).

I have searched this (and other) groups extensively, in addition to the clj FAQ and the Web, and (to my surprise) this question doesn't come up as often as I thought it would. Maybe this is because either is patently impossible or I am not searching for the right thing. If either of these is the case, of course, please let me know. What I am trying to do is grab a little snippet of data from a remote page based on user input in a form....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
