Uploading files to sharepoint in .net

Hello everyone,

Here is what I want to do.

I have an xml file that i have created using the dataset method writexml
(with schema). I want to write this to sharepoint. Do I have to do anything
to the filename property of the writexml method to save it to sharepoint?

I have never worked with sharepoint, so I need some assistance.

Thanks

Corey

Hi there. I've spent the weekend getting ever more frustrated, trying to get an upload file function working on a website. The site is hosted by a company called oneandone. They're using PHP 4.2. 3, not in safe mode. I think that the basic problem is the set-up for the temp folder, but I don't have access to the .ini settings. I'm pretty sure it's possible, because I've got MyPHPAdmin running, and

Good afternoon. The entire task that I'm trying to achieve is to allow a user to browse and upload multiple files simultaneously, hiding the Browse button of <input> tags of type="file" and replacing it with a button of my own background color and text. The file paths I'd like displayed in a textarea and then the files uploaded at once.

I have created an IHttpHandler that waits for uploads as attachments for a webmail interface, and saves it to a directory that is defined in config.xml. My question is the following: assuming that this is suppossed to end up as a component for others to use, and therefore I do NOT have access to their global.cs::Session_End() how do I cleanup files that were uploaded -- but obviously left stranded when the users aborted/gave up writting...

I was advised by a Microsoft speaker at a local .Net conference that "SharePoint" had a lot to offer for asp.net developers. I've spent a few hours hunting down links on Sharepoint Services in Server2003 and also SharePoint Portal Server Product. Whenever I try to learn the details of what the SharePoint services have to offer for asp.net developers all roads lead to a video, recorded in 2003 that has to do with "asp.net" and sharepoint....

Can anyone share so insights as to anyone having successfully been able to upload an access database into SharePoint where the end users can alter, edit, deleted and save the information on the back end so that everyone else could see the changes made by others? The current SharePoint v2.0 allows me to upload a document and when I do it this way it will successfully take the whole database and even open it up in access but the problem we are...

I am uploading a zip file using an HttpWebRequest and a PUT operation to Sharepoint (2003) from a Windows Form application. When I upload the same file using the Sharepoint Portal Web UI itself, the file uploads in 1/3 the time. If I copy the file over the network using Windows Explorer, it also copies in about 1/3 of the time. I don't understand why it is taking so much longer transferring it in this way. I've tried several...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
