Dear All:
I'm not sure if this is even possible but does anyone know about using
ActiveX controls (a Microsoft-specific technology) in Java? I am having a
heck of a time finding some similar functionality in Java provided by some
controls (ActiveX) and I was wondering if I can manipulate them using Java?

I have created an ActiveX control and build the project with 'No Common
Language RunTime support' option and everything worked fine. But when I used
the option 'Common Language Runtime Support (/clr)' I still could build the
project. But when I tried to create the ActiveX control in the test container
it displays an error message 'Failed to create control:Unspecified error'.

I've written a Windows Forms application in .NET 2.0 and am exposing
it to COM using the checkbox in Project Properties and by adding some
register functions and adding it to the GAC. I'm using the ActiveX
Test Container (tstcon32.exe) and I'm able to add the control to the

I am having an ACtiveX Control developed in C#.Net 2.0 windows Control Library. I have tested this control.TCS through ACtiveX Control Test Container.
It is working fine, But the logs are getting created in the folder where the TSTCON32.exe is located, instead of creating in the aplication folder.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
