Hi,
Can anybody recommend a good code generator for data driven apps?
Thanks in advance,
John 2 1247
Hi,
Have a look at NextGeneration http://www.radsoftware.com.au/codegenerator/
It is a .NET code generation product that I have been working on. It will
generate a data access layer, strongly typed DataSets, business services,
stored procedures and an ASP.NET interface.

Hello,
My name is Angela Mastrodonato. I'm a web designer who would like the
assistance of a php programmer. Some of my clients have requested more
dynamic web sites, and I am in the beginning phases of learning php.
When it comes to common services, such as shopping carts, I have found
ways to modify existing scripts.
However, I have been getting requests for services that seem specific,
and require a more customized approach than...

I'm on a trek looking for fast reliable (bug free) MySQL 4.1 components for
Delphi 6/7 for accessing large MyISAM and Innodb tables. Can anyone make
any recommendations?
I've tried MySQLDAC from MicroOlap and unfortunately support is terrible.
(No reply to any of my e-mails in the past 2 weeks).
I'm also looking at Zeos (where are the support newsgroups?), SciBit, and
CoreLab.

I have been using a large hosting company and until recently, when I wanted
to combine domain names and they will not let me out of a contract with two
months remaining to combine accounts. they are losing $11 and will not
budge.
I have referred my clients to them and have been a long-time customer and
have explained all this to them - not budging. So...I am looking for a new
hosting company.
I need PHP, MYSQL, and prefer an account...

I'm new to .Net, C# and web app development, having come
from a Windows development environment. I need to create
a working prototype by the end of the year, in my spare
time (ha). The answer to the time problem seems to be a
code generator, but which one? Iron Speed looks
interesting, but it apparently only works with MS SQL
Server. The prototype is for a package proposal, so I'd
like to be able to also use SQL Server, Oracle or...

Hello,
I'm a hiring C++ developer employer looking for existing, online C++
aptitude tests.
I have not yet extensively researched this yet, but as an example, I
thought this test looked pretty good:

I have written a code generator. To be more specific it is a
code generator generator. As in a generator that generates
code generators. If you run the generator on its own source
code you get a code generator generator code generator. If you
run it on some other non-generator code you get a code generator
generator generator. Watch your bracketisation in all that. The
idea is to generate code which generate code which looks exactly
like...

Hi,
I'm searching for a documentation system like JavaDoc or DoxyGen that is
capable to document JavaScript sources. Sure google leads me to some
tools, but without recommendations from real JavaScript users. Does
someone here have some recommendations for me?
best regards,
Torsten

Looking for recommendations on a programming language for a web
application.
I am soliciting recommendations on a programming language for a web
application described below. Actually, it is not real, just an example
of what the real application would do. I do not want to stimulate any
debates between respondents. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Let me be the one to privately decide on the validity of the comments.
All options...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
