Did anyone got error like that? When I'm trying to Update WebReference in my project this is an error I'm getting "Custom tool error: Failed to generate dataset. Undefined data type: 'anyType'." The anyType is really a GUID. The problem is its working fine on my friends computer (they get string insted of anyType) and it complies fine. I even tried to reinstall VS.NET 2003 but no positive result. Does anyone had that problem before?

hi, i'm suddenly getting the above mentioned error message when i'm clicking on some control in my winforms application (coded with vb.net). after that message the app closes immediatly. i tested around a little bit now and found out that the error is user-dependend. if a domain-admin (not a local one!) runs the app, it works, otherwise it crashes.

Hi, I try to develop a localized Asp.Net 1.1 application. I have added two resource files to my app, which are called 'Labels.resx' and 'Labels.de.resx'. If I compile the app, I see a 'de' subfolder in my 'bin' folder and the folder contains the resource dll. Accessing the german strings does not work.
