Hi all. I'm working on debugging someone else's code. The .NET application
is a mess...I can't open the project or solution files, so I've started
over...creating new projects and such. I'm working on a form that gives me
the following error when I try to build the project:
The type or namespace name 'ogi' could not be found (are you missing a using
directive or an assembly reference?)

I'm getting this error and Microsoft's site states that the way we are using our
libraries is unsupported and the error is by design (go figure). My setup is
simple and why it isn't supported is completely unclear to me.
1.) 2 Web Sites in solution, 1 DAL library, 1 BLL library, 1 Schema library (all
in same solution).
2.) DAL and BLL libraries are inheriting ServicedComponent, referencing and

Hi,
I'm creating a Strong named assembly which has a reference to a third-party
Assembly.
When I try to compile my assembly, I receive the following error
"Assembly generation Failed -- Reference assembly 'Assembly Name' does not
have a strong name."
How to get rid of this error? Any suggestions?

I added a .NET dll as a reference to my new .NET dll. When I went to build,
I received error "Unable to emit assembly: Referenced assembly
'CrystalReport' does not have a strong name". "CrystalReport" is a .NET dll
I built which calls the third-party Crystal dll. I have no problem when I
call the "CrystalReport" dll from my .NET executables.
I never had to call a .NET dll from a .NET dll before. I figured it would a
no-brainer as...

Sometimes, it is two unprintable characters, instead of the one. Like

SignTool reported an error 'A certificate chain could not be built to
a trusted root authority. tried adding strong key..but once if i add
