include pages inside aspx pages are not displayed on iis 5.1(win xp pro)

hi to everyone,

i run front page 2003 on windows xp professional (iis 5.1 installed) with
net framework
1.1 and net framework service pack 1 installed.
When i built a web site (on iis 5.1) using single ASP pages i can see
include pages(either html or asp).
However when i built the same web site using aspx pages i can not see
include pages.
I ' d like to notify that when i publish my site to my web host (which
supports win 2003, iis 6) i can see include pages.
So it might be a problem related to iis 5.1

any help would be appreciated
thanks in advance
thanasis

Hello, When I run my aspx pages with IIS on my own 2000 pro machine the pages display as if the page is a regular asp page. It seems to ignore my CodeBehind code. I can run the same page with IIS on my 2000 server machine and the page runs just like it is supposed to. Is there some files that I am missing on my pro machine? Any help is apprectiated. -Patrick

Hello I am running IIS 5.1 on Win XP Pro with all the latest patches and updates. I have installed the .NET framework and attempted to run a simple .aspx page from the sample microsoft .net tutorials. The page contains a form with a text field that is populated with a value once the form is submitted. When the page is viewed in the web browser, the server code is revealed in the text field, and the page (and any other .aspx pages) does not...

Hello, Norton Internet Security blocks some of my ASP.NET pages. The pages are very 'normal' pages though. There is no 'dangerous' code in it or something like that. Also, the page is not in a pop-up. Most of my pages work just fine, but when I navigate to a specific page, it won't open. I don't get an exception or a warning, the page just won't finish loading. When I disable Norton Internet Security, it works fine again. Also when I...

http://www.promcars.co.uk/pages/bonnie.php I don't believe they should be there, can I take them out without stopping the includes from functioning? I'm the (hapless) optimiser on this one... I have to correct where they've spelled my name wrong too...sigh... BB --

Again another simple concept that appears NOT to be intuitive or I'm just stupid. I've read the WROX book and the example doesn't actually show how the .master page links in the other content pages? Kinda sorta a critical point no? Am I missing something? Rob. P.S. the day I find a book that actually is useful rather than just a

Hello, I have a strange problem with my new website. I have installed IIS 5.1 (Win XP pro). The website runs pretty well but sometimes the web browser does not display all the images that should be present on a page (the browser displays a red "X" instead). When I request the page again, the missing images are displayed after reloading the page a few times, or after I request these files manually by typing their name in the address window of...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
