Hi,
I'm trying to make a newsletter application in php (using mail() ).
This application is supposed to look in a MySQL database and generate a
list of emails and first names.
Then it should send an html formated message.
In the theory, I know how to do that, but the hic is ... There are
about 30 000 members.
So I get different kind of errors everytime I try something.
Like 500 Internal Server Error,

to send a simple text message. When I try that, my program seems to
start and run OK, my firewall asks for permission for PythonWin to
access the internet, then it gets to the line s.connect()

Follow up to this thread, the latest Oracle 9i release 2 patchset
(9.2.0.5) fixed the handle count leak problem. The problem is in
Oracle client component.

In the course of my current project, I've had to deal with connecting
to an HTTP server that isn't fully compliant with the HTTP requirements
for chunked encodings. Rather than sending the end-of-data sentinel
(0-length chunk), it just closes the connection (without even sending
the CRLF at the end of the data).
Because of this, using httplib would always throw nasty errors and not

I am using the system.web.email namespace to send email, but I have no
way to check what is the status of the email after sent, even if there
is no internet connection, the system wouldn't throw any exeception
error as well, does anyone know how to handle this scenario? Or how
can I retrieve the status of a particular email which has/has not
been sent out?

I can send email using C# and SMTP, but keep closing the connection before
the .eml file has left the Queue folder. The length of time the .eml file
stays in the Queue folder is dependent on the size of that file; big or many
attachments increases the time.
If I start an internet connection, issue the smtp mail send and then close
the connection in my C# program, I need to wait until the .eml file has left
