Hi,
I am using Windows 2003 Server. The VPN works fine, but I want to FTP
through the VPN so the connection is encrypted. The problem is each of my
IIS sites has a real Internet address specified, w.x.y.z. So when the VPN
comes up using a private IP, I can't connect to any of the FTP sites using
the VPN server's IP, 10.10.10.2. Could you give me specific directions how
to deal with this?
Thank you for your help.

I have registered a domain that forwards every hit to my home PC.
I have configured Default Web site to show one Web from my PC.
So when people navigate to www.mydomain.com they see that site.
What if I want to how more then one web site? Is there a way of doing that?
Thanks

I run a web site that searches for data on other web sites and displays
the results for the user onscreen.
Currently, it uses perl to fetch the data, sort it and display it. It
can take quite a few seconds.
Is there a way to fetch the data and have it displayed as it comes in,
but also to sort it each time a new entry comes in?
I can display results as they come in real time using perl / html, but

Howdy,
I want to write an application, with some functionality that will
detect my "Real World" ip address, ie that of my router, as opposed to
the actual IP it is running on which is a 192.168.1.x address.
So the .NET app needs to some how find out what real world IP address
it is running on.
There are web pages (such as www.mywanip.com) that can tell me, and I
suppose I could write my application to connect to that page, and parse

What I'm looking for is a way to tell if two sessions are from the same
physical PC or from different PCs (within the same organisation say). This
is with the view to possibly enforcing license restrictions, i.e. limiting
the number of pcs that user account can connect from (say to 1 perhaps 2)
but not the number of open sessions that user can have.
So, with that in mind I was wondering whether it was possible to obtain the
local IP...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
