Dot Net 2003 Installation Problem

Hi all
I am building a new setup on an XPPro Laptop running SP2.
Having installed VB6 and am now installing .Dot Net 2003. The installation
completes the installation of the prerequisites. I have tried it with the
..Dot Net Framework 1.1 from Windows Update and on the .DotNet Framework on
the installation CD.

When installing the system it always fails on Error 25003 when the system is
'Creating the VS Dev Group.
At the end of the run the system also reports that it can not locate the log
files.

I would be grateful for some advice on what is happening and how to fix this
problem

Hi, all, A strange problem. Don't know if anybody met it before or have a solution. I installed VS.NET 2002 before. Then I uninstalled VS.NET 2002 and install VS.NET 2003. The problem is when it prompts me to enter the product key, I entered the product key of VS.NET 2002. But the validation passed and the installation process continued.

Now, I had to install this on a client's machine, for some strange reasons, it had to be installed on their production server, but that's besides the point. The client logged me on with his user, and I

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
