NumericUpDown MouseEnter event not raised

Tam
Referring to MouseEnter event not being raised in a C# project im
developing.

Problem previously detailed by Louis MCutchen at

http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/...4-04/0158.html

One reply says there is no 'sanctioned' workaround... Unlike Lois I
cant live with this and need this to complete a project... Howabout an
unsanctioned one?

Its the last thing on my list of 'todos' and it cant be signed off
(and hence me paid) until it is.

Help.

Hi, I am setting the NumericUpDown .Value property and the ValueChanged event is NOT being fired. Does this ONLY get fired when I change it on the UI and not programatically? Thanks

Tim I have written some code that causes mouseover effects on a picture box. The code works fine most of the time and creates some really nice effects.

I have a form with a number of text boxes, comboboxes etc. What I would like to do is create an event handler for the "mouseenter" event for each of the controls whereby I display information about the control they just entered (sort of like an extended tooltip). Now, I can certainly create a separate mouseenter event for each control (too much work, and not very clever), but what I would like to do is somehow create one event that would...

Hello, A probably dumb question... does anyone know hot to avoid that if one keep the mouse pressed on an arrow of the numericUpDown it continues to fire events (it uses evidently a timer) ? I want 1 event for each click, and no timer activation. I have tried using disable within the handler but does not work.

Hi, I'm using a numericupdown to represent the number of items in a listbox. It's supposed to add more items to the listbox if i change the value of the numericupdown. I used to did this with a combobox with values up to 5, but now I need editable values. The thing is, it works if I type in text and then press enter. It also works if I push the numericupdown buttons, but this event isn't triggered instantly, it only shows the change after I...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
