as mentioned above, I just completed a website in visual studio .Net. which
consists of several ASP pages. This website is currently sitting on my
development machine (and it works perfectly), but when I copied the pages
(aspx, aspx.vb, resx, etc) to the production machine it doesn't work! What I
mean by that is that when the pages are displayed on the browser (from the
production machine) my pages' html is fine but all the server controls are
gone!
I can't figure out why.
IIS service is started.
my pages are located in the Inetpub/wwwroot folder
did I miss something?

Firstly, you should not put your aspx.vb files on the server. Rather, you
should compile them into .dll and put the .dll's on the server.
Aside from that, what errors are you getting?

I normally build my site with DW and used VS 2003 to build a Web page to
call my web service.
I now want to move the file over to my production system, but don't know
which files I need.
I assume I need the .aspx and .aspx.cs, but do I need the .dll file it
created or the .aspx.resx file?

In my recent project, my client uses Chinese Star software to type the
articles in chinese (using MS Word), and I need to display these articles
within ASP.NET pages. And, for this very purpose I also installed a copy of
Chinese Star software in my development machine, so I can correctly renders
the doc correctly.
Ussually I just copy the text from the original DOC file they supplied, and
paste it onto a blank ASP.NET page.
