I have several subroutines (all inline code) that wind up using the same
database connection object variable. I have been declaring a new variable in
every sub. I just now came to a point where I want to call one sub that will
utilize a database connection from within another sub that is already
utilizing a database connection.
1) Can I just declare this database connection once outside of all
subroutines to make it global (the way I...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still
submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the
upload section. The file name...

I need to make a registration page for a community service volleyball
tournament our organization is doing. I am VERY NEW to ASP.
Would the easiest way to make it be just doing it on frontpage (where i
just lay out the form and save it as an .ASP file) and then changing
the form properties so that the results are sent to the access file?
I read that you could make aso forms on frontpage and it just seemed
too easy. Do these really work...

A web site uses a SQL Server instance on another box and it takes a long
time to establish a connection. Is there any way to make the web site stay
connected to SQL server at all times, even though there are no users?
Thanks,
Keith

I have three questions.
1. I have created sql connection to sql server 2000 from a vb.net form. However, I just want to make the connection class and I also want to know how to call that connection class from different forms to connect to sql server 2000.
2. Can I use the query from this class? Because, this connection class will be used by a number of forms.
3. TextBox1.Text, TextBox2.Text, TextBox2.Text are also not recognized by this...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
