Trouble finding database after running a Setup

I have created a VB.NET Windows application that reads an Access database. I point to where the database will be after the program is installed, but it can not find the database. I noticed that when I was testing the program that a file named Myapp.exe.confi g was created and if this file was not there on my development computer that it could not find the database file. So I included that Myapp.exe.confi g file with the install. I do point to the place that the database file will be after it is installed on another computer. But after running the setup on another computer and run my program it can not find the database file. I put the database file everywhere and it still can not find it. If I rename the Myapp.exe.confi g file then run the program it goes into the debugger.

What is this config file?

I am new to VB.NET and this program is not that complicated. So how can it fix this problem.

I'm trying to install numeric on my MacOS X box using Darwin, with the eventual goal of satisfying all of PyGame's dependencies so I can finally start working on my semester project. I would be using MacPython, except that I can't seem to get its Package Manager to work. Anyway, when I try to install numeric, I get the following error: chriswei% sudo ./setup.py install Password: running install running build

My Name is Nick Soutter, I am the owner of a small game company, Aepox Games (We're in the middle of a name change from "Lamar Games"), www.lamargames.net. Our first commercial game, Andromeda Online (www.andromedaonline.net) is going into beta soon. It runs on an evaluation edition of SQL Server 2000 (our intention is, when it launches, we earn the money to buy a copy before the evaluation expires).

I am in the process of cleaning up a database that our company uses to track jobs, time and expense, and customer information. We are running Windows 2000 Server with approximately 20 terminals (Each running 2000) logging in each day. Four of these terminals access the server via Citrix. Currently the database is about 60MB, but it grows to 150 and larger each week. I am constantly having to compact it to keep it running smoothly. ...

Hello, I have an application that I'm converting to Access 2003 and SQL Server 2005 Express. The application uses extensive use of DAO and the SEEK method on indexes. I'm having an issue when the recordset opens a table. When I write Set rst = db.OpenRecordset("MyTable",dbOpenTable, dbReadOnly) I get an error. I believe it's invalid operation or invalid parameter, I'm

Hi everyone, hope your all looking forward to xmas. I am setting up a Sql2005 database on a Windows Server, running Windows Server 2003. The database is going to be accessed via users using an ASP.Net website. My website is running the normal IUSR account. And users must login to the website, which uses Forms Authentication. I do not want to give users access directly to tables, so have created

Hi, I have 2 servers each running AIX and both have a DB2 database setup on them. I'm building a news management application and in our setup we need to have a staging and production setup. So the staging database gets the changes performed and then once we're satisfied with how it looks, we push the changes through SQL queries which perform the (deletions, updating, and inserting of articles) onto the production database by comparing it to...

Hello, I'm using tiny MCE plugin on my oscommerce and it is inserting my website URL when I use insert image function in the emails. The goal is: Make it send the email with the URL http://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg instead of http://mghospedagem.comhttp://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg As u see, there's the website URL before the image URL.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
