ASP Calendar Control within a frame

Hi all,

I have a little problem with an ASP Calendar Control within a frame. When I
click the next month or previous month button it kicks the calendar out of
the frame and shows it in a normal window. I looked on the control for a
target property but could not find one. The calendar work great inside the
frame except for the problem mentioned above. Any input on this issue would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Suresh,

The ones who works with this are mostly in the newsgroup

microsoft.publi c.dotnet.framew ork.aspnet

You likely get an answer faster there.

I would like recommendations for implementing a calendar in an ASP.NET web site. My plan is to store date and event information (e.g,, "Spring Sale") in a database, and when the page is requested, load the calendar. Users would ideally view an entire month, and a short description of an event within a specific date. More than one event will be listed for some dates, with a brief description displayed in the calendar. I'd like to enable...

I am using frames to on a page which has a calendar. there is a header which changes the month in the frame, and the calendar itself. What I want to do is change the calendar every month to reflect the current month. What I am doing now is going in monthly and changing the target....jan.html to feb.html, next month feb.html to march.html..etc My hope is that I will not have to manually update. Any ideas???

Hello. I made a page using .net calendar. At first, I build this page with 3 frames. "top", "menu", "main" "menu" frame has page links and .net calendar. Now, the page was revised to use only 1 frame. Instead, that uses 3 html "div" tags and 2 .net user controls, "top" control (top.ascx) and "menu" control (menu.ascx).

Hi, I tried to search web for an non-popup calendar control, (like javascript calendar) but could not find a good solution. Most solutions are popup another window and show the calendar, then close and assign the date back to the main window when user selected a date. Also find some examples using div show/hide but could not maintain its state when user navigate to next month. Does anyone have a hyperlink to a good example? Does...

I downloaded Steve Leban's RTF2 control and it works as advertised. Good news! After reading reference material on the RTF standard codes, I have been able to write update queries to universally change the font or font size directly in my table without having to edit the text natively in Leban's control. Also good news. I see that there is an RTF code, \posyc, which would center the text vertically within the reference frame. The...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
