Can I have a HTML frontend (data-entry form)with access as database

dear all,
as of now, am working on a simple access database with a normal data
entry form
Can I design a form in HTML for data entry, and the same be linked to an
access database where the records get saved

I also require a scrolling marque in the HTML page which runs some
prefeeded information.

how can I go about it, pls help

Warm regards,
Rajesh

You will find hundreds of examples on the web on beggining asp.net. Why
dont you start at w3schools.com for some short tutorials. You should be
able to transport much of your business logic to an aspx page.

logic on axps page..
its a small need as of now, that is designing a front page or say a data
entry page in html. and storing the entered data thru this page in a

Here is the scenario. We have a database with patient case information. This database was previously solely used in Access. The problem is our users connect to this database (located in California) from locations across a large network. California to Virginia. Naturally the east coast locations were running very slow. We decided to migrate to an Access front end with an SQL backend. The database contains several forms with multiple...

I have a report within my access database that I would like to have a shortcut on my desktop that could bring up that report. In other words, now I have to double click on the database, then go into the reports module, then double click on the report. You can probably guess I am a newbie at access, so any push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

(If i keep size as 100 instead of 50 in the Field Size property in design view) 3. If I create a client server application and 10 people work on the same database at the same time, Would it affect the speed of the database 4. Is there any way I can keep a...

I have recently posted a new access database and its oracle tables onto a shared folder for various users. It is a search database and me and a few other users are able to pull from the file and use it perfectly. But, when other users pull from the shared folder they suffer from dragging performance and then the fields within the forms error to "#Name?" and an "Object Invalid or No Longer Set" error button comes up. Seeing as though we...

I have several old Access 2000 databases which use DAO to update SQL 2005 tables. They have always worked fine. Here's some sample code: Dim dd As DAO.Recordset Set dd = tables.OpenRecordset("tblReadersInUse", dbOpenDynamic, 0, dbOptimistic) dd.MoveFirst dd.Edit dd!ReaderID = 125 dd.Update The DAO connection is working fine, but I now get crashes whenver I get to the Update line. This happens with Edit and AddNew in ALL...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
