I have an ASP page acessing an LDAP server (Exchange server on Windows
2000).
I tried running the asp query on the machine that contains the LDAP
server, and it worked fine, returning the correct no of records.
I subsequently moved the page to anotehr machine on the network, but
here, it gives me a recordcount of 0 when i try running it.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?
I read somewhere that EXchange Server and IIS have to be on...

I have worked with CDO mail before at a different job, but at that job I was
developing internet sites, and now I am developing Intranet apps. We have
the following setup, WWW/SQL on 1 server, mail server, PDC and SDC (and
Proxy), all OS's are Windows 2000 Server (except Proxy, it is NT4).
What would be the best way to allow sending emails from ASP? If someone can
point me in the right direction, that would be great!
Thanks,
Drew

Requirement:
1. Lists users from LDAP
2. Allows multiple selection as well as free text entry
3. Has To, CC, and BCC lists.
4. Message and subject can be configured programatically.
5. Returns mail object or else sends to SMTP server.
6. Handles errors robustly with good user feedback.
7. Easy to call from a web page. That is, is either an applet or,

In an Exchange environment, a user can have several SMTP email
addresses in addition to their default SMTP address.
When querying the "mail" property of a user, only the default SMTP
address is returned.
How can all of a user's Exchange SMTP email addresses be returned?
Thanks,

Does anyone know how to go about viewing/changing/adding/deleting an Active
Directory/Exchange 2003 user's e-mail address. If you pull up a user in AD
Users and Computers and click on the E-mail Addresses tab I would like to
manipulate some of the smtp addresses listed there, using a VB script or
VB.Net program.

I am writing an application that needs to email to specific users on our
Exchange server and need to query it to see if the SMTP address I will be
sending to exists. The application will be running on the same server as
the Exchange Server. Environment is W2003 SP2 Exchange 2003 SP1.
Allowing the email to bounce is not an option.
Thanks in Advance,
Mike Ober.

All,
I posted a question yesterday about automatically sending emails with VBA in Access 2002. That post was wonderfully answered by Mr. Doherty.
Now I have a follow up question. Can anyone toss some sample code my way about how to query a ldap server to get email addresses? I have the ldap server name and a user's first and last name. Now I want to hit my company's ldap server to look up the user's email address.
Thanks for your...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
