Hi All
This sounds such a simple request, but doesn't seem to work.
Basically I'm allowing the user to upload their own SWF files to their web
site via a web browser (ASPupload).
I don't want to limit the dimensions that they have to use in their SWF
files so I want to simply extract and display their chosen SWF file without
specifying the width and height of the file. For some reason IE can't

In the description below ??? marks specific problem areas.
Any help is appreciated.

A method to detect the width and height values of a
<DIV... element. Since there are two ways to "style"
a DIV, it should be noted that a CSS file is used in
this case. The same is required for an <IMG... element
contained within the DIV.

I need help figuring out what dimensions to use for a flash site, I have a site that I finished not long ago; I set the dimensions to 1028*960. Now when I view it on my pc at home it looks great, but when I view it on computers elsewhere the dimensions are all messed up and text is barely readable.
Any help would be appreciated.

I made my first flash-site, it's based on a top frame that loads the pages and a small bottom frame that doesnt change content. The problem is that the dimensions are fine for my screen (1280X1024), but too big for many other screens, laptops etc. Is there a way to maybe add a line to the index.html that will automatically adapt the dimensions of the flash content in the top frame to make sure that users dont have to scroll to see the whole...

If I have an .avi file is it possible for php, anything else too but hopefully php, to read the dimensions of the video file. In case anyone is wondering why, I'm trying to embed them using DivX web player with a standard width of 640, but this needs both dimensions, doesn't auto adjust. I know how to read the dimensions of the file when it's on my computer, but I change the video file frequently and this would be a lot easier, that's for the...

Hi Everyone,
I've developed a site in Flash MX which is 720x560 pixels in size. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to save the file so that it would't adjust to the size of the screen of any computer. Basically, I'm hoping to keep it the same size no matter who views it and no matter what computer it is seen on so that it doesn't pixelate.
I appreciate any help on this.
Thanks,
Rob

Is there a builtin/standard install method in python for retrieving or
finding out an image's dimensions?
A quick google found me this:
http://www.pythonware.com/library/pil/handbook/introduction.htm
but it looks like it is something I will need to install - I'd like to
be able to pass my script around to people without them needing any

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
