I am developing a Windows Application in VB.NET that is using two
class libraries CL_A (contains class A) & CL_B (contains class B).
Also CL_A is used in CL_B.
Now in my application when i try to set a variable, declared in CL_B,
of type CL_A.A to another variable, declared in application, of same
type CL_A.A it gives me following error though both types are same.
error BC30311: Value of type 'CL_A.A' cannot be converted to 'CL_A.A'

I have a problem with multiple definitions that I can't quite straighten
out.
I have a templated class defined inside a namespace, and I want to
create a function in that namespace that works on a specific instance of
the templated class.
Like this:
// file Numerical.hpp:

Hello Experts!
Assume I have a class called SphereClass as the base class and a class
called BallClass that is derived from the SphereClass. The copy constructor
initialize the left hand object in this case object b2 below. It also
initialize subobject from class SphereClass.
The BallClass copy constructor looks like this.
BallClass::BallClass(const BallClass& bc) : SphereClass(bc)

First of all, I'm an Asian and I need to input Japanese, Korean and so
on. I've tried many PHP IDEs today, but almost non of them supported
Unicode (UTF-8) file.
I've found that the only Unicode support IDEs are DreamWeaver 8 and
Zend PHP Studio.
DreamWeaver provides full support for Unicode. However, DreamWeaver is
a web editor rather than a PHP IDE. It only supports basic IntelliSense
(or code completion) and doesn't have anything...

Hi !
What is the common use of sharing a single .cs across multiple project
files ?
I think it's to share common classes between projects.
I have actually a .cs file shared accross multiple projects in a same
solution. It's nice to have a common "set" of Classes.
Is this the only way to share classes between projects ?

I am pretty much lost here - I am trying to create a managed c++
wrapper for this dll, so that I can use it from c#/vb.net, however, it
does not conform to any standard style of coding I have seen. It is
almost like it is trying to implement it's own COM interfaces...
below is the header, and a link to the dll+code:
Zip file with header, example, and DLL:...

Hi,
i am using a third party static library (.lib) that wraps a class interface
around an old C-style dll. in the static library they use the STL for some
stuff i don't know about.
in my own code, i also use the STL, for basic_string for example.
at link time, i get a lot of errors like:
msvcprtd.lib(MSVCP71D.dll) : error LNK2005: "public: __thiscall

Hi All,
I have a solution which consists of multiple projects and each of these
projects has their own app.config file. The problem is that all of my
projects in the solution pull keys from the app.config file from the main
project (my start-up project). My question is can each project look for its
keys in its own config file first? Is there something or settings that
missing here? Would some one give me a hand?
Regards,

Hi,
I'm interested in developing an application that needs to run on more
than one operating system. Naturally, a lot of the code will be shared
between the various OSs, with OS specific functionality being kept
separate.
I've been going over the various approaches I could follow in order to
implement the OS-specific functionality. The requirements I have are
as follows :

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
