Hi All,
Is there a backward compatability issue regarding to .Net 2002 and .Net
2003? I heard someone said that if you're developing in .Net 2003 and gave
the entire project to someone who is developing using VS .Net 2002 and they
can't open the solution file (.sln). Is there a solution to fix this
problem. TIA

I have several Access 2003 mde databases. When I try to open them in
Access 2002 I get the following error:
"The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is
corrupt."
Interestingly I can open the mdb files of the same 2003 databases in
Access 2002 without problems. To my understanding the file formats of
2002 and 2003 are the same and this problem shouldn't exist. And why
is it only the mde files that are giving the...

Scenario:
O/S: Win XP Professional
Back-end: Access 2002 on network server
I have an Access 97 application, in production on our network, that
takes appoximately 5 minutes to process monthly data. I find this
tolerable.
The Access 2002 test version, on the network, takes approximately 50

Hi,
I'm working on converting several of my Access 97 databases to Access
2002 format (the company's changing from NT 4 to XP and updating Office
at the same time), and this one has me stumped. As a performance
enhancer, I use VBA code (transfertext) to export the results of a query
(usually 20-30 thousand rows with a few dozen fields of customer
information) to the user's temp folder as a text file and then link to
it using a text file...

Someone please explain why Session_Start fires multiple times /
retains SessionID values between sessions, when you open an ASP.NET
page from MS Word. For details of the problem, see below:
1. Create a new C# ASP.NET web application named "demo" and modify
Session_Start in Global.asax.cs as follows:
protected void Session_Start(Object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Response.Write("Session_Start event fired at "+

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is
upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server
at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has
licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that.
I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if
Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

The Reps team have been experiencing that Access 2002 unexpectedly
quits
while working and also lots of Corruption Failures and "Record lock
can not
update" messages since the upgrade from Windows 2000 and Access 200 to
Windows XP and Access 2002 (XP) was done.
Now, they are working and at anytime in anywhere of the application
access
unexpectedly quits with no error messages and the info that was being

I am trying to create a DLL in Visual Studio 2005-Visual Basic that contains
custom functions. I believe I need to use COM interop to allow VBA code in
Excel 2002 to access it. I've studied everything I can find on COM Interop
and .NET. I've also tried many of the 'Walkthroughs' on the MSDN site
relating to COM add-ins, .NET and Office XP but am unable to get even these
working in Excel 2002 or Word 2002.
I've installed the Office XP...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
