Hi.
Could some one please point me in the right direction
about vb.net support for Dial-up connectors? I could not
find any documentation.
Using VB.NET I would like to search the computer for
existing Dial-up connectors, then select one of them and
use it to establish a connection to the internet,
transfer files to an ftp site and finally close the Dial-
up connector. I think I can do the ftp part but I need a
way to manage the internet...

I need to develop an application (development platform:
Win2000; target platform: Win98/ME/NT4/2000/XP), which
would require file transfer functionality over dial-up and
network.
We could develop on .NET (1.1 or 1.0 - VS.NET 02/03) or
using plain COM (visual c++). We'd prefer .NET though.
Does anyone know of any products or COM API (or .NET
classes) that can easily handle file transfer over dial-up

I would like to establish a dialup connection to another
PC and transfer a file and discount the connection. Is
there sample code or information that I could look at? I
am doing this for a smart device project running Windows
CE .Net.
Thanks,

I am using a dial up connection to the Internet and to an online SQL
Server database.
I have a problem in that when I use Enterprise Manager to access even
my local server , or even, it appears, when it is just open with no
connection to any SQL Server, I experience very slow data transfer
over my normal dial up connection.
I am reasonably sure it is Enterprise Manager causing the problem as
when I close it and redial I have an...

Hi!
Is it possible to start a dial-up connection that is already created on the
computer thru VB.NET, and then after it has dialed up get an idication of
that there's a connection ( I guess ping some server?) and then send a mail
and close the conenction?
I really need some pointers in where to start to look for this!
best regards

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
