I am exporting a report to an Excel file. Whatever options I use for the
formatting the results remain the same. I have set the
ExcelTabHasColumnHeadings to true and false without any difference. I have
set the ExcelUseConstantColumnWidth to true and thenset the width to
different values and have seen no changes. The code I am using is shown below.

Hi,
I am exporting data from an EDITABLE DATA GRID EXCEL. But the 1st column
in data grid is Edit Column. I want to display all columns in Excel except
for the Edit column.
The following code which I am using allows exporting only from text data
from data grid & not from Edit columns which are link buttons. How to leave
this column while displaying data from data grid in Excel?

In order to save typing, I've borrowed the text from a post of nearly 12
months ago.....but the problem still exists.
I've been banging my head all day with this, so I'm hoping someone has
some suggestions for me:
I'm trying to either print or export some Crystal Reports in asp.net
web application. The reports were made with CR 9.0, get their data
from an SQL Server 2000 database.

Hi,
I tried this demo application in here (watch for any line breaks in the
URL):
dodotnet.exe.asp
When exporting to Excel there is an empty column after each actual column in
the excel.
Why? Is this a normal behaviour? Is it impossible to get rid of the empty
columns when using the export funtion of the report?

The short of it:
If you needed to import a CSV file of a certain structure on a regular
basis(say 32 csv files, each to one a table in 32 databases), what
would be your first instinct on how to set this up so as to do it
reliably and minimize overhead? There are currently no constraints on
the destination table. Assume the user or some configuration specifies
the database name, server name, and filename+fullpath. The server is
SQL...

One of the requirements of our ASP.NET 2.0 web application (developed with
visual studio 2005) is to create reports in form of excel spreadsheets with
data coming from Sql Server 2005 database.
Some points are as follows:
1) User should be able to filter data included in reports like choose among
cycles, cars etc or all of them (I.e. Sql query is generated dynamically
based on user choice)
2) Data is retrieved from database and...

Is it possible to convert PDF data report to excel thru VB.NET?
Currently I am generating PDF report in my application using crystal.
The requirement is to also generate the same report in Excel. I know we
can do this by creating Excel template and filling the template with
required data. But wondering if there is any easy way to conver the PDF
report to Excel thru API calls.
Thanks in advance.

I have a report in Access that has a lot of grouping (sometimes over 5 group headers). When I export it to Excel where more people can use it and are familiar it creates a lot of blank rows when there's nothing inside the group. Certain items in the report will have items in all 5 group headers/levels, most will not. I have a macro in Excel that deletes the blank rows but some reports are too long to export to Excel because of the blank rows....

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
