php5 & mysql 5 install problems

I am using mysql 5, php 5, and apache 2.

I can get php and apache working together.

Mysql works by itself.

From the manual... I cannot figure out how to activate Mysqli.

I have placed the libmysql and php_mysqli files in the system root,
apache, php folders.

I made Path entries for all of these folders, but php still cannot find
them.

By the way... I cannot seem to find libmysqli which is what the error
messages are all about.

I only find libmysql in these 2 directoriess

C:\mysql\lib\debug = 1129kb
C:\mysql\bin = 916kb

To answer my own questions.

I have been downloading the installer version which for some reason did
not have the correct .dll's.

I decided to delete my current php and reinstall and found the correct
..dll's were in the .ZIP version???

Anyway... everything works now.
