Website Database Listings Solution required!

1 New Member
A web developer was designing a Services Search section of my website and we have just discovered that phpMyDirectory does not facilitate the following scenario:
We want Advertisers to belong to multiple categories and multiple geographic regions for Searches.
E.g. Billy Builder signs up and wants to be listed under Builders, Carpenters, Blocklayers sections and for Oregon, California, Maine states.

Does anyone know of a cheap solution for this? (something similar to phpMyDirectory)

Hi.

This seems like a very odd thing not to support. Seems like rather big oversight, not allowing these sort of relationships.
Are you sure it doesn't support this?
Have you tried contacting the people who sold you this program?
Perhaps they can provide a solution.

If not, I do not know of any alternative. Although, this doesn't sound hard to create. (This small part, that is.)

Trying to use the 'search' in the docs section of PostgreSQL.org is extremely SLOW. Considering this is a website for a database and databases are supposed to be good for indexing content, I'd expect a much faster performance. I submitted my search over two minutes ago. I just finished this email to the list. The results have still not...

It takes VS 2005 1, 2, and somtimes 3 MINUTES to compile ASP.NET 2.0 website when external DLL is modified. As a matter of fact, when I click 'Build', it looks like VS 2005 hangs for most of that time before it actually starts compiling. If I modify something inside WebSite project itself without modifying DLL, it takes few seconds to...

Hi - What's the difference between a website, a project, and a solution when it comes to pure ASP.NET programming? I have a "solution." I can migrate this to my production web server just by dragging a folder to a network connection. Presumably some JIT magic occurs on the server machine to compile the project and place the code into...

ASP.NET/VB.NET ListingItems() as string I need a nested array of Listings().ListingItems() so i can read a text file and split each line and insert the results into this array. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
