Client area and login

Client area and login

new to Mysql, I would like to store pictures in mysql and have
differnt customer accessing them through password. Is there some ready
made solutions or tools that make the code that I can buy, without
doing to much work myself.

thanks

Hi, I have a ASP.NET application using forms authentication Default page is default.aspx, and login page is login.aspx As I perform authentication in Login page, I want to update a log table with both successful and unsuccessful logins. As usual, client computer connects first to default.aspx, but since it isn't authenticated, it is redirected to login.aspx.

We have a requirement to put a client onto machines intended for some telephony work. The database access will be via ASP.Net pages, and that's fine, but the telephony stuff requires access to some legacy servers. I've prototyped the client itself as Winforms/C# (which was NOT fun for a C++ curmudgeon like me, but I'll live). The problem is, I'd like to be able to ensure that the user is always running the latest client (our current fat...

I have been developing a ClientServer application on one machine at my office but the time has come to transfer it to the customer. The customer is running a Windows 2000 local area network. I will keep a copy of the applicaiton and all it's code on one of the client machines connected to the local area network at the customers. This machine has a full blown copy of Visual Studio 2003. SQL Server 2000 is the back-end, both at my office...

I wanted to change the Non client area height. This was not possible in the existing Form TitleBar. So I set the FormBorderStyle= None and I calculated and introduced the Non Client area myself. So the height and width of the Non Client area is 15 and 4 pixels border respectively. Also the Nonclient area has been painted as per our need. Now all is fine but in design time when the controls in the form are anchored other than top, left. Now...

Hi. I would like to let users send bug reports or other messages to me. Maybe the easiest way to send e-mails from my application is just use the default e-mail agent by executing a link mailto://mymail@domail.com. But this only works if the user has configured Outlook or something. Many users use web-based mails here so if I do so, Outlook Express's a new account wizard will pop-up. Futhure more this reveals user e-mails. Some people...

We just switched our web application from .NET 1.1 to 2. Once client can't login out of several that have been successful. They enter a correct user name and password, click the login button and they are redirected back to login with no errors or login failure. The same login account works fine from other machines at different locations. This client had no problem logging in before we switched. The login procedures are essentially the...

Hi all, I've been writing Javascript for quite a while now and have, of late, been writing quite a lot of AJAX and AJAX-related code. In the main, my dynamically generated pages are created using Perl on the backend, with Javascript providing limited frontend functionality. As an example, an expanding tree would be fully populated on the server-side and then presented to the browser, with Javascript and CSS being used to vary the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
