Hello!
The C++ standard library provides facilities for finding out the sizes
(and other such stuff) of numeric types (::std::numeric_limits<>, for
example).
What I would like to do is to select a type on the basis of its traits.
More specifically, I would like to select an unsigned integer type on
the basis of the number of bits I need it to have. (This is because
there are particularly efficient ways of implementing the Advanced

This doesn't make any sense to me. I'm hoping some SQL guru out there knows
the answer.
I'm making a help desk type database system. There's only two tables, one
called TTickets and the other called TNotes. The Primay Key of TTickets is a
one to Many to the Foreign Key of the TNotes table.
In my VB code, I create a relation between the two tables so I can display
several notes (from TNotes) with a single entry in the TTickets table. So...

I wrote the following code to concatenate every 2 keys of a dictionary and
their corresponding values.
e.g if i have tiDict1 = tiDict1 = {'a':,'b':} i should get
tiDict2={'ab':} and similarly for dicts with larger no. of
features.
Now i want to check each pair to see if they are connected...element of
this pair will be one from the first list and one from the second....e.g
for 'ab' i want to check if 1 and 3 are connected, then 1 and...

Hi
A short newbie question. I would like to extract some values from a
given text file directly into python variables. Can this be done simply
by either standard library or other libraries? Some pointers where to
get started would be much appreciated.
An example text file:

Some text that can span some lines.

I am editing a pre-existing view.
This view is already bringing data from 40+ tables so I am to modify it
without screwing with anything else that is already in there.
I need to (left) join it with a new table that lists deposits and the
dates they are due. What I need is to print, for each record in the
view, the due date for the next deposit due and the total of all
payments that they will have made by the next due date.

I've a code-behind function for LoadGrid(), this is calling selecting a node and clicking a button only, I want to load grid while selecting a node. Pls give me the codes and ideas to do, it's...

Below is my understanding about count algorithms.
Return type of count and count_if algorithms is
iterator_traits<InputIterator>::difference_type.
If the container contains more than 'difference_type' elements
satisfying the condition, then count and count_if algorithm cannot
return a value greater than 'difference_type'.
As an example, suppose maximum value of 'difference_type' is INT_MAX.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
