I am having some problems with trying to perform calculations on time
fields. Say I have a start time and an end time, 1:00:00 and 2:30:00
(on a 24 hour scale, not 12). I want to find the difference in minutes,
divide this result by a predefined size of interval, and make a loop
that runs this many times. For example, with an interval size...

I'm looking for a function that returns a date range for a specified week
number of the year.
I'm not able to find functions like this anywhere. Any pointers/help would
be much appreciated.
TIA

I had a very quiet schedule at work today, so I thought I'd finish this
script. In theory, it should generate a random time between two moments
specified, round it off to a conventional interval if desired, and
convert it into text if desired. The text conversion routine is a
separate function which could be used more generally if desired.

I have a form field which displays a time in the format 5:30 PM - this time
is selected from a previous page.
I need to add a function to increment or deincrement the time by clicking
up/down buttons - sort of like the clock in Windows.
How can this be done in javascript?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I recently encountered a problem while trying to create a report
grouped by certain time frames. However, Access only allows grouping in
Minutes or Hours. For example, the first time frame is from 5:30am to
6:20am, if I have record 1 with time = 5:30am, record 2 with time =
6:00am and record 3 with time = 6:30am, the report will group...

This is a follow-up on my previous thread concerning having the program
wait for a certain date and time and then executing some code when it
gets there. My question is; can I use the Sleep function from kernel32
to accomplish this? My concern is that this function takes milliseconds
where my program needs to be accurate to within 5 minuets,...

I'm summing up time spent on jobs over a week, some of these jobs last
greater than 24 hours and when access sums these up it appears that it
starts again at 00:00 once it gets past 23:59.
Is it possible to display the time taken in hours and mins past the 24 hour
clock? i.e 34:23?

Hi Group (fairly limited knowledge of Access and almost none of Access
VBA. Using Access 2003).
I need to sum time, I've found through the groups archive an sql
extract that led me to this
SELECT Format(Sum(Table2.time),"Short Time") AS SumOftime
FROM Table2;
Which works fine but the article also said I would need a Function to

Hello,
I have 2 time fields dynamically generated in format "m/d/y H:m".
Could someone show me a good function to calculate the time interval
difference in minutes? I played with strtotime() but but that only
gave me difference in hours and only if the times were on the same day
(after wrapping with date() function). TIA

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
