I'm trying to test out Python XML-RPC for the first time, and can't find
anything that executes a call end to end.
I thought that I would use SimpleXMLRPCServer to run a simple server on
localhost, and xmlrpclib to run a client that connects to it, but they don't
seem to register the same functions. The server test code registers 'pow'
and 'add' (in the Python 2.3 distribution) but the client seems to call

I use a notebook (win 98) because of its portability. Unfortunately it is
very slow. When I try to develop and test python cgi scripts I use Xitami
as a local server, but with python, Xitami, and my text editor running it
becomes next to impossible to work. The keyboard and mouse are slowed to
painful levels. Actual execution of the webpage/script is tolerable, but to
edit I have to stop the server. I was wondering if using...

There has been a bit of discussion about a way of providing test cases
in a test suite that _should_ work but don't. One of the rules has been
the test suite should be runnable and silent at every checkin. Recently
there was a checkin of a test that _should_ work but doesn't. The
discussion got around to means of indicating such tests (because the
effort of creating a test should be captured) without disturbing the
development flow.

Just wondered what range of browsers, versions and OSs people are using
to test pages. Also, since I don't have access to a Mac, will I have

I'm building a web application using VS 2005. This application uses
Windows authentication to 'authenticate'. However, when I test it
(debug) via the VS 2005 built-in test server, it doesn't work. I.E. It
won't authenticate.
Is there a way to do Windows authentication using the built-in VS 2005
test server? Thanks in advance.
