I have a dedicated server running 'FreeBSD 4.9 STABLE' at a hosting
site. They have done some default installations, presumably from the CVS
ports package ??. Herein lies the problem, "I do not know" what they
have done!
At first it was apparent that MySQL was installed
mysql_install_db ; GRANT TABLES etc. ???
so I ran "mysql_install_db --force"

Hi,
I can only access mysql through the root by typing mysql -u root -p. But
when I use any other user to connect to mysql I get the access denied error
message. Mysql is installed on windows xp. I looked up information online
to solve this problem and saw that there are some scripts that i may be able
to run in order to fix the problem. But I am not sure how to handle those
scripts since they are only made for unix systems. I tried to...

I need a little help here please.
I have 2 win forms user controls in 2 different projects that I'm hosting in
2 different virtual directories. The controls have been test and operate okay
in both projects.
Both controls(dlls) have been signed using SN.exe and I've set up the
appropriate .Net assembly permissions using those Strong Names
The DLL's have been copied to the /bin directory in both web virtual
directories.

I've got MySQL 5.0.21 running on Windows Server 2003, and php running
on Apache on a Linux box (Fedora Core 4).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
