Select Statment question

I have a question and I can't figure out how to do it.

I have a select statment :
SELECT table1.* AS table1.*, table2.* AS table2.* FROM table1, table2
WHERE 1

this does not work...for me at least...I'm trying to name my columns
tablename.field name....any help would be appreciated, thanks

You can't use wildcards within column aliases in SQL. You'll have to
name every column individually (which I recommend anyway, for other
reasons).

Also, column aliases must be quoted if they contain punctuation (or
spaces, etc.).

For example:

SELECT table1.field1 AS 'table1.field1' ,
table1.field2 AS 'table1.field2' ,
table2.field1 AS 'table2.field1' ,
table2.field2 AS 'table2.field2'
FROM table1, table2

Regards,
Bill K.

I use the following SQL statment to bring z_emp_id values to a employee table: update employee set z_emp_id = (select z.emp_id from z.employee z where z.login=employee.login) Upon executing this statement a warning appears (in AQT) saying all the rows in the table will be modified. Is this a benign message?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
