This is probably an easy question but i apparently can't find the right
Google key words
i am passed a string and the name of the data type i'm hoping that string is
(technically, i'm passed a System.TypeCode). My job is to verify that the
item really is a valid bool value, int, single, whatever
Not quite seeing what i want in reflection. Thought the various datatype
..Parse methods would work but not directly. Maybe i could try Parse...

I'm in the Oracle and SQL Server world. In those worlds, we use
SQL*Loader or DTS, respectively, to load large amounts of data from a
flat file to the database. I'm assuming that DB2 has something similar.
Can someone point me in the right direction? What tool do you use in
DB2?

Hi,
As was pointed out whatever you return from a WebMethod needs to be
serializable to SOAP. An ArrayList is not serializable. I will be
needing to return other data types from web methods. Is there a
document, or can some one list those types that are not serializable
and the syntax for converting them?

How can i bind this field to a check box?
I noticed that this field can be NULL, 0 or 1.
But i'm having trouble binding this field to my check box.
