Registry key of "manage gps automatically"

4 New Member
Hi!

I have a gps program which works only when the "manage gps automatically" function is checked in the PDA settings. I do not want to enable user to disable my gps coords logging by uncheck this, also I want to check the state of this at program start. I need a registry key which related to this function if it exits.

Thanks.

Ps.: I know, I can disable gps settings icon from registry, but before I do this I need to check programatically the state of this function.

You'll just have to search through the registry, or read up on the OS of the PDA you are talking about.

Without more information about your problem nobody will be able to help you.

As you might know that "java.lang" package are automatically imported by the java compiler so that one don't need to write the import statement of that package in the source code. Are there any packages in .net are automatically "used" when your are writing a .net application? I am told that Visual Studio ..net automatically include different packages depending on the kind of applications you are creating. is this true? Will the compilier...

Hi, We all know the below codes are dangerous: { int *p = new int; delete p; delete p; } And we also know the compilers do not delete p if p==NULL. So why compilers do not "p = NULL" automatically after programs do "delete p"?

Dear All I'm trying to create a control that inherits the combobox control. When I entered in the line "Inherits Combobox", the IDE automatically added the method Public Sub New(ByVal Container as System.Component.Model.IContainer). What is it used for? Is there any impact if I cut it out? Thanks Best Rdgs Ellis

Hi! Is there something I can do in PIL to restrict a line to a certain size and have it to break/wrap into a newline automatically? (Or by using some code, of course...) I'm trying to add information to barcodes and since the label space is fixed I'd like to use all the horizontal space I can and since I'm with two or three lines of free space I'd like to use them as well.

In query DESIGN view, how do I automatically "fit" the columns in the table/field grid to the lengths of the table and field names (including any functions applied to the fields). I am not talking about the query results. I am talking about sizing parts of the query DESIGN view, so that they are readable (long table and field names that get chopped off, long criteria specifications that get chopped off, ...), and saving the sizing so I...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
