Hello,
2 questions:
1) To do mobile development in C# (for PDAs) we can use either MMIT, which
works with ASP.NET or the new .Net Compact framework in VS2003 right?
2) Can you please point me to some good tutorials on C# mobile development.
Thank you.

I posted this to the aspnet.mobile group, however there appears to be little
activity there. So I am trying here for I am really stuck.
I am really confused as I browse Microsoft’s MSDN in regard to mobile
development and VS2005. I go to the mobile asp net page:
http://www.asp.net/default.aspx?tabindex=4&tabid=44
The things I read in here seem to refer to VS2003 or are just plain old. I
go to device update and the latest update is...

I have an Intranet based on ASP.NET 2.0 using Webparts to give a
similar experience to Sharepoint. This development was made as
Sharepoint 2003 did not suit our needs and Sharepoint 2007 was not
ready.
Now that Sharepoint 2007 is ready (and being demo'd) I am getting
questions regarding features available in the new Sharepoint that we
do not currently have. I am reluctant to throw away the current
Intranet and replace it with...

I have a Windows Forms Vb.net program written in vstudio2005 that I would
like to have access a MOSS (Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007) List,
and have the ability to add records to that list. Additionally it would be
nice to loop through existing MOSS list rows (records).
If anyone from Microsoft is reading this... it sure would be nice if VStudio
could view a MOSS List as a Datasource that could be listed in a dataset and...

I saw a MS demo a few years back where they developed a web page and the
software automatically rendered it for different devices. Is this what
I'm looking for?
http://www.asp.net/mobile/
Much of the info looks old. I have a MSDN account where can I download
it or is it already in VS 2008 and I just don't know how to find it?
I'm mainly interested in having simple pages render in Internet Explorer

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
