I tried to adapt the instructions for building the M2Crypto module
(http://sandbox.rulemaker.net/ngps/m2/INSTALL.html) to build a version
compatible with Python2.3, but I've had some mixed results. I actually got
everything to build and install, but when I try to import M2Crypto-- well,
here is a sample session:
>>> import M2Crypto

Hi Guys,
I've been used to deploying code to the production server by checking
out of subversion and manually sorting out any kinks. (yes, I know, it
sounds primitive)
I realize I'm losing so much time I could spend more productively. I'd
therefore like to know the different approaches you guys employ to
deploy builds from your staging servers (or laptops:) to the production
server in an automated repeatable safe manner.

I have searched far and wide (not wide enough some might chip in) but
cannot find the syntax for creating a staging table for an MQT.
IBM manuals talk long and longer in serveral sections of this "marvel"
but there is no indication of what it takes to create one.
I have seen indications that appear to suggest that the CREATE table
statement is all I need.
They also seem to suggest that the Staging table and MQT are created in

Access 2000:
I am trying to delete duplicate records imported to a staging table leaving one
of the duplicates to be imported into the live table. A unique record is based
on a composite key of 3 fields (vehicleID, BattID, and ChgHrs). VehicleID and
BattID are a TEXT datatype and ChrHrs are a number(long int.) datatype. Since
records to be imported can have duplicate records of the composite key I need to
clean all but one of the...

Does anyone know of a tool that can automate code migration from a
staging server to a production server. As a developer I only have
rights to migrate to staging and I would like a tool that could help
automate the delivery of code from a staging to production scenario.
Thanks in advance.

Hello All,
I have a question as to why my users are noticing error when I am building
the project on the production system. Here is the problem's background.
In order to build the project on the production system, I use the Visual
Studio's File > Open From Web and then build the solution. Some of the build
settings are as follows:

I want to create an MQT, intialize it manually and then use staging table to
refresh it with new data, but i don' t see a way for not doing full refresh
after creating the staging table.
I tried set integrity immediate unchecked, but refresh table after that
seems to do a full refresh.
Should this work? If so, what would be the right statements for doing this.
Thanks
Klemens

Hi,
I have an application that allows functionality extension by third party
DLL's. All the specs for building these DLL's are targeted to c++, with
demo.h files containing "extern" statements, etc.
However not really knowing c++ I would rather use C#. Could you point me to
documentation/information on how to use this c++ information to properly
construct my C# routine to connect properly?

I am trying to find the best way to handle my development process. I am
using Dreamweaver to handle the check-in/check-out process which works
pretty well.
We are trying to work out the best way to handle the data from the
Development side to the Staging to the Production.
Is there a best practise on how to sync the Staging Servers to the
Production Servers?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
