How do i write the following script, i'am new to this can anyone help me please

Write a script that takes two arguments. The first being a line of text, the second being your newly created file. The script should take the first argument and insert it into the very top (the first line) of the file named in your second argument.

Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind... I have some batch scripting ability but next to no skill in VBS. I had a set of scripts that would: Query the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client Application Launchers\Hardware Inventory Agent If the value returned is 0x79726f74 then it would stop the SMS Client

Howdy All, I am having difficulty with two-way communication across AppDomains in an attempt to dynamically script applications. Everything works as expected, except when using ByRef parameters. The below explanation is lengthy, but well worth the read. If you can help me, I'd gladly share this code which has greatly helped my development of extensible applications.

This is from the new KOffice Announcement. http://www.koffice.org/announcements/announce-1.5.php '''This version of KOffice features a start of a unified scripting solution called Kross. Kross provides cross-language support for scripting (thus its name) and at present supports Python and Ruby. Kross is easy to include into programs previously lacking scripting abilities, and is included in this version as a technology preview. So

Hi group, I need to develop a web application. I am in a fix as to choose among the various server-side scripting options. I want to explore python (am a newbie) to gain expertise and upon search, I learnt about PSP(Python Server Pages) that uses Jython as its scripting language. Is it a better option over PHP or Perl? Could anyone point out the pros and cons of using PSP over others? Help much appreciated.

I am new to web programming with javascript and I was wondering if javascript is the only scripting language that run in browsers like Firefox, IE and Opera or are there others? The scripting that I am refering to is scripting that will show in the user's browser when you "view source" - not scripting languages that run on the server. Thanks!

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
