Does anybody know it? Thanks

I thought it would be rather fun to try out @font-face, but I cannot get it
to work.
I used Microsoft WEFT to generate several embedded fonts and find that the
example
below works when I use my Win XP development machine as both the browser and
Web
server. However if I try to display the same page from another machine (Mac
OS X, Win 2000, or Win XP) using the Win XP development machine as the Web
server then I get the default font...

I've got a problem that IE doesn't seem to use the entire font unicode
subgroups from a hinted font file. When I display the following web page in
IE 6 as opposed to Firefox 1.0 PR.
Check out the web page in question...

If you examine, for a few examples, characters such as square root
(√), prime (′) and double prime (″).

I am a bit curious about this.
The graphic design people I work with say it is their preferred font for
web pages. The reason being that it is "kinder" to the eye both in terms
of shape and size.
The HTML "hardcore elititst" profess that it is a useless font because
it is too big compared to other fonts.
Personally I do not care one way or the other, but I generally trust

Is anyone aware of (a fix for) problems I'm having getting PIL 1.1.5 to
create bitmaps using TrueType and openType fonts? When I create an image
using the standard PIL fonts everything seems fine, but when I use
ImageFont.truetype(<font-file>, <size>) no text is drawn.
setup.py reports from debug print statements that it's finding freetype21.
The same code using (Fredrik's pre-built binary) on Windows runs
correctly and produces...

Hi All;
I, like others, have been frustrated with designing
forms that look and flow the same in both IE and Firefox.
They simply did not scale the same.
I have discovered, to my chagrin, that IE7 does not seem
to offer any way to control the font size of a text input
element.

Hi,
I was wondering if there is way use a font that is somehow kept in the
code instead of having to load it? I am working on a single script
that so far can produce images and html but I have not been able to
figure out a way that it can also produce a font.
Thanks
Carl

Is there a shortcut way to define the default font family (and

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
