Apparent Javascript execution problem

1 New Member
I have Windows XP SP2 Home version, and Firefox 2.0.0.4 is my internet browser.

About 3 weeks ago I started getting "unresponsive script..." error messages when trying to access articles on the NY Times web-site. I did some research and increased the dom.max_script_run_time to 2000. Instead of the error messages, the system now freezes while the site is attempting to transfer data from graphics8.nytimes.com.

If I disable Javascript, nytimes.com works fine, but of course other sites do not.

I do not have this problem with sites like the WashingtonPost.com, for example.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Hi In Roy welcome to TSDN,

the information that i've found says that some FF extensions can cause this error (nothing to do with the website(s)). Which extensions are u using?
