iTunes 7 music videos not starting automatically

P: 2
Hi all.
With iTunes 7 (Windows XP), if repeat is selected and a music video is next in the same playlist, the current song finishes but does not switch to the next one automatically... it just sits on 'play' with 0 seconds remaining. Manually pressing play works fine.
Have tried to get around this using setTimeout, but having NO experience in JScript means getting this ready in time has been a pain in the rump.

Have been trying to get it to this format:

if next song = video clip {
when time remaining = 0 {
then play;

For the 'pause then play' bit, have used:

PlayPause(); //will pause it
setTimeout("PlayPause()",300); //will play the music video after a quick break

What I am aiming for is non-stop visuals. Visualiser for normal music, and seamless transition to music videos when they play... but the first part of the code has me stumped.
Any help in getting the music videos to automatic playback would be greatly appreciated. They always say you should learn from the best ;)

Simplified it even further.
If anyone knows what the code would be for accessing the length of the current song AND the time elapsed of the current song, please let me know.
