I use a print link that causes a problem with Opera 7. The link looks
like this <a href="javascript:parent.frames.mainFrame.print()">Print
this page</a>
I also used
<a href="javascript:print()">Print this page</a>
and it also worked with most browsers. I realize that it only works if
you have Microsoft Windows versions for PC but that is what most of
out customers have anyway. I have also noticed that there is a problem

Hi,
I have a problem with our intranet, we are planning to install Firefox
instead of Internet Explorer onto some new PCs.
However, we can't get the following JavaScript to work in Firefox and
similar code is used in lots of the intranet stuff.
The code should bring up a message box with a warning and not allow
the user to continue unless they have filled in the entry in an html
form (the form is called 'myauthor').

I have a site with 2 frames. Left frame contains a javascript menu.
Right frame contains the page and a scrolling javascript news item.
I want to have a function on my scroller that when clicked on it calls
the frameset for the news area and it replaces the entire current
frameset.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
