image (water tile in header) in IE 6 will not display where other browsers
will.

Here is the site in question:
http://dev.unmeaningflattery.com/
Open it in Firefox (this problem does not occur in IE).
Click on one of the image thumbnails to see the larger image appear
(works by changing "display" property). Note how you can arrow up and
down the page or (if you have it) use your mouse scroll button to move
up and down the page.

Using javascript to set cookies is apparently not working in Firefox.
Here's a simple test page that works in IE, Opera, Netscape, but not
Firefox (The javascript is right on the page):
http://web.njit.edu/~jmb2/Joel/test_css2.php
In any of the browsers besides Firefox, you can set a cookie using PHP
or Javascript, but with Firefox (with the code I'm using), you can only
set a cookie using PHP.

On http://www.wellesleycarriagehouse.com, there is no margin around the
thumbnail images at bottom. I've verified that Firefox doesn't even THINK
there's a margin, using Firebug 0.4.
So why is there space around the images in Firefox 1.5 for Windows?

I have a script that loops through an existing table list and prepares
each href element node to trigger a function when an image is
clicked. The function that will be run passes a property value to the
function upon clicking. The property value is one of the attributes
defined for each respective href in the property list.
In IE and Netscape, the property values pass correctly, but in
Firefox, only the last property value in the list...

I have an Asp.net page. It's basically a Calendar.
The calendar frame is created with the <table> tag in the codebehind.
some of the cells are named ie. <td name="cell1" id="cell1>
during each postback, the program figures out which cells are to be displayed. By editing the display parameter.
document.getElementById('cell1').style.display = 'None';
Everything. Works fine on the postbacks, but not on the first load.
Infact, if I...

Is there a way to see javascript errors in firefox similiar to how IE works? I like how IE has the icon in the bottom left which notifies me that I have a js problem. I'm sure firefox has this, but I'm not sure how to get this working.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
