Do what? I don't use frames.

I suspect that what you want is to alter the width and height CSS properties
of the relevant objects style property.

document.getEle mentById('id-of-element').style .width = '25em' ;

When the user resize the browser, the "Frequently Used Link" and "Table 1" and "Table 2" will shift to the left hand side, but table position is unchanged. I really have no idea how to fix that. I don't know what's the correct approach, I just try in different figures manually. Please advise. Thanks!! --------------------- test.html ------------------------------

Hi, Please diregard my previous post... I have found out that doing a window.resizeTo(w,h) does not resize the client area tot his size, but the entire window (including tool bars etc). So, with an address bar, a tool bar and a status bar etc showing, the window.document.body.offsetHeight value will be ~200 points smaller than the required size.

The included html contains 3 divs. One primary Div, with 2 nested divs. the second nested DIV contains an empty table. Problem 1: Phantom Space. When viewed within the browser, the div 'action panel' is spaced a picel or two lower than the div 'ItemsPanel' even though both are the same height. Oddly enough, if you remove the table (ID Removemetowork) this phantom space dissappears and everything is fine with the world Problem 2:...

Hi all, I have a control, that basically is my own version of the datagrid, except that is renderers purely readonly tabular information. When the control is rendered to the designer, I can click on the control as rendered and move it, however I cannot resize it. I can change the height and Width properties in the PropertyGrid and they change, but the control doesn't resize.

Is it possible to alter a table to resize a varchar column? The PG docs indicate lots of uses for "alter table T alter column C..." but not one that allows the changing of the type (or same type, new size). This is possible in Oracle (provided you are increasing the column size). Is there a way to resize the column without having to drop or recreate the table or column? Thanks

Hi, I am using a vector to reserve certain amount of memory, and reuse it for new set of data, to avoid reallocation of memory. so the call is something like vector<my_datav;///the temporary storage. v.reserve(300); ///at max I have 300 data. now, my_data doesn't have a default ctor (as it doesn't have a default state).

Hi! This discussion may help other programmers get a better idea of how to save uploaded images through a website. Why? Well currently, I save 3 versions of every uploaded image on my own little website: 1. Small: DOWNsize of original image to be used as a thumbnail. 2. Medium: DOWNsize of original image to be used as user avatars/icons in forums or profiles.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
