Yes. I think you are doing something wrong :)
(Hint: Show is code, or we can't say *what* you are doing wrong)

This *should* work:
<a href="largeImag e.png" target="largeFr ameName">
<img src="thumbnailI mage.png">
</a>

hi lasse,
thanks for the response, do i have to reference each image? the
contents of the folder i have set the first frame to show constantly
changes, i was hoping to default the first frame to show the pics in the 2nd
frame without referencing the pics. can this be done?

regards
harold

Hi, I have a site where I have pictures and frames for the pictures. Is it possible that user picks a picture (it opens in same or a new window) and then picks a frame (which is added to the border of the picture selected) to see how it looks. There will be different pictures and frames. Any idea of how this can be achieved, if not in php, some other way? Ashok.

This may have been asked before but I can't find it. If I have a rectangular list of lists, say, l = ,,], is there a handy syntax for retrieving the ith item of every sublist? I know about for i in l] but I was hoping for something more like l. Hilde

Seems I still haven't got the hang of all those window generating code in Javascript. I've got a page with about 15 photo thumbnails. When you click on a thumbnail a new window pops up which shows the enlarged version of said thumbnail. This works fine on all current browsers I've tested. However, in case I do not close the popup but click on another thumbnail instead, only IE replaces the enlarged pic by the new one, Firebird and Opera...

The Python slice type has one method 'indices', and reportedly: This method takes a single integer argument /length/ and computes information about the extended slice that the slice object would describe if applied to a sequence of length items. It returns a tuple of three integers; respectively these are the /start/ and /stop/ indices and the /step/ or stride length of the slice. Missing or out-of-bounds indices are handled in a manner...

First of all, my apologies for the xpost. I realise the netiqute, but this query seems to cross the boundaries of both these groups. Basically I have created a small ASP site that allows a user to upload their own pics via ASPupload so that they can be used on their site. I use a very simple form with a INPUT file box to allow them to browse, select and upload the picture. I then use ASPupload to save the file, get the file params and...

I have a bit of a problem with regards an indexing strategy. Well, basically there is no indexing strategy on a set of data I have at work. Now, I didn't create the design as I would have allowed for this. OK, so there is primary key (clustered) indexes (mainly composite keys), but no other indexes on the tables. As you would expect, the performance leaves a lot to be desired. A hell of a lot. We have several million rows in a lot of the...

Here's the rest of the tutorial I started earlier: Aside from text within a document, Indexing Service let you search on meta information stored in the files. For example, MusicArtist and MusicAlbum let you find MP3 and other music files based on the singer and album name; DocAuthor let you find Office documents created by a certain user; DocAppName let you find files of a particular program, and so on. Indexing Service uses plug-ins...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
