In my style sheet I've set the links like this:
a:link{
text-decoration:none;
}
I did that for the pseudo classes and I also did that for the image
tag. Yet there are still link lines around the images. Why?

the site we're working on has some anchor links, you click them they
scroll to the bottom of the page with the answers to the questions
linked on to. is there anyway to make it so that the links are not
underlined when the page loads, when the user moves the mouse over
it's underlined, mouse out no underline. i tried:
<a href="#section14" class="drkblue08bold"

but that left the underline gone forever,...

Hello,
this might sound stupid, but I got a really nice homepage template
which unfortunately is a 3-Column Fixed Width CSS format. Now I don't
have any content for the right column and would like the middle column
just to use up that space instead.
Any way this is possible?

HI
I want to disable the underline of a hyperlink text in a hyperlink column of
datagrid/gridview in the content page.
If I am writing a css class to disable it in the master page then its
disabling
the underline for all the hyperlinks in the page.
The datagrid/gridview is placed in a html table.

I have an image link, an image within an anchor tag, that I would like to remove the styling of. When I say styling, I mean the default blue box around the image. I have tried:
text-decoration: none;
which I use to remove the underline from links, but this did not remove the box around the image link. Any thoughts?
